Zen Plugs, Custom Fit Earplugs  can be made at home in approximately ten minutes. As well as being less expensive than most existing silicone-based DIY earplugs,Zen Plugs, Custom Fit Earplugs  are quicker, simpler and less messy to make. They reduce the volume of ambient noise hygienically and effectively, allowing you to work and rest in peace.
Unlike those from other manufacturers where you only get one chance to get it right, if you're not happy with the fit, you can resoften and remould your Zen Plugs, Custom Fit Earplugs  easily and as many times as you wish.
Your Zen Plugs, Custom Fit Earplugs kit includes:

•  thermoplastic rods,
• an instruction leaflet and
• a soft carry pouch.
• The noise reduction rating of these earplugs is in the range of 25 - 30dB.

Care of your Zen Plugs, Custom Fit Earplugs

• To clean your earplugs simply wash them gently in warm soapy water,
• make sure it’s not too hot or they will soften and distort
•  Keep your earplugs away from hot objects like heaters, radiators, hot taps and hot drinks.

 ZenPlugs are waterproof and can be worn in the bath, the sea or a swimming pool. Make sure you rinse them in clean water, dry them with a cloth and leave them in a warm dry place for the cord or handles to dry out fully.

Zen Plugs, Custom Fit Earplugs are made using a revolutionary new technique safely and easily, in a matter of minutes. Moulding the plug to fit the unique shape of the user’s ear canal, the VariFone technique allows anyone to make bespoke earplugs.

The thermoplastic used for Zen Plugs, Custom Fit Earplugs is tough, scratch and stain resistant, non-toxic and even biodegradable. It is so safe it is used to make implants for use inside the body.

Because of its low melting temperature, the thermoplastic can be softened easily in hot water and moulded in the ear to form a fitted earplug. With no pressure effect on the skin of the ear (as there is with foam and rubber inserts which work by creating a pressure seal), the Zen Plugs, Custom Fit Earplugs moulding makes the finished earplugs more comfortable and less likely to fall out than existing models.

The thermoplastic is available in a range of colours and incorporates Steritouch®, a non-toxic compound proven to kill MRSA, Salmonella, E. coli and other disease-causing bacteria which may cause ear infections.
